You don't need a dog at home to love this story of temptation & regret. It's good for lil' readers (or tots) with a nice theme of a dog trying to resist temptation when his owner goes out for the day. It's bright, it's full of laughs - no depressingly serious decisions here, just a chocolate cake to eat, cat to chase, y'know...
It's a good one for multiple ages (and for teaching consequences) if you want to shout "Oh no George!" every time something goes wrong at home. You will, guaranteed :)
